This is the new digital-only reissue of this "lost" album. Recorded in 1994, but not released until 1999, and then only in a limited edition of just a few hundred CDs It has been out-of-print and almost impossible to obtain since approximately 2002.
Here is how this 2021 reissue differs from the 1999 pressing:
1. The album has been restored to its original,
intended running order for the first time.
2. It feature newly-written, extensive liner notes by Jim Reed (session organizer, co-producer, drummer and art director).
NOTE: THESE LINER NOTES WILL BE EMAILED SEPARATELY FROM THE MUSIC DOWNLOAD, AS A STANDARD PDF DOCUMENT, AND AT A LATER DATE. DELIVERY EXPECTED BY MARCH 7, 2021.
3. For the first month of its release (March 5 through April 5, 2021), all proceeds from sales of this album will be split equally and donated directly to guitarist BOB ELSEY of The Swimming Pool Q's, who played lead guitar on almost every track on this record, and is currently dealing with a serious and expensive health situation.
CUSTOMERS CAN CHOOSE TO PAY MORE THAN THE $10 BASE PRICE FOR THIS ALBUM, AND IF THEY DO SO, THAT ADDITIONAL MONEY WILL ALSO BE ADDED TO BOB ELSEY'S SHARE AND DONATED TO HIS MEDICAL FUND.
New and extensive Liner Notes for this reissue
of ASIA MAYA ZEN will be emailed separately to
all purchasers as a standard PDF file by March 7, 2021.
